Terry Thomas:
After 25 years in property management and general maintenance, Terry founded Thomas Home Inspections, Ltd. From the very beginning, he wanted THI to be truly unique by offering more than customers expect, delivering a full range of services, and providing peace of mind to his customers through information and education. His "walk and learn" inspections for clients who want to ask questions and fully understand the inner workings of the home reflect his commitment to helping buyers and sellers reach a comfort level with their decisions.
Terry has earned Certified membership in the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), the American Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists (AARST), the Ohio Association of Radon Professionals (OARP), the Ohio Onsite Wastewater Association (OOWA), the National Onsite Wastewater Recycling Association (NOWRA), and the National Association of Wastewater Transporters (NAWT). Along the way, he has also lent his services to the community through Rebuilding Together, Summit County, and become active in several professional organizations. Terry is a veteran of the U.S. Army serving four years in the Army Security Agency.

Lana Thomas:
Before joining her husband in the home inspection business, Lana had developed extensive ties in Summit County's business and civic communities. Her 30-year career in the corporate world has included owning a marketing firm specializing in ongoing customer contact and serving on the Greater Akron Chamber's Small Business Council Board of Directors and many committees that promote area business. She currently serves on several committees in the real estate industry.
Lana notes that her work experiences have taught her that customer service is not merely a department; it's a commitment to focus on one customer at a time and to ensure that the customer's experience is a positive one. A key aspect of serving customers is for them to recognize the harmony between what a business claims it does and what the customer experiences.
As the office manager of Thomas Home Inspections, Lana shares her husband's dedication to exceptional customer service. In fact, they do not call that dimension of their business customer service; they call it customer satisfaction.
